Giovani Dos Santos Bought Out By Galaxy

Mar 2, 2019 2:36 PM

The Los Angeles Galaxy bought out the final season of Giovani Dos Santos' contract, getting the club down to 3 designated players ahead of the MLS season.

The move cost the club around $6 million, although it did free up salary cap room for the Galaxy to round out their roster.

“This obviously frees up some funds. We need additions. We need to strengthen and deepen our roster in certain positions. And we’re very actively doing that. Hopefully soon," said general manager Dennis te Kloese.
